Auto AC Service: Keep Your Cool!

Fall is on the way with cooler mornings, but many people still need their car A/C in the afternoon to get them comfortably home from work or school. You find yourself wondering why your air conditioner is not cooling. The A/C probably needs a little attention after working so hard through the hot summer. The heating unit in your car (which also uses the compressor) will get a lot of use in winter, so now is the time to take care of an auto AC repair service. It may simply need some fresh coolant added to the radiator or it could mean something a little more extensive.  It’s is wise to find out sooner rather than later!

There are several reasons that could be why your air conditioner is not cooling:

  • Blocked condenser
  • Broken cooling fans
  • Broken condenser
  • Low refrigerant due to a leak
  • Electrical Faults

It is smart to keep your car air conditioner in tip-top shape as a repair can be very expensive. With the introduction of computerized parts, today’s auto A/C repair is more complex than in the days of “do-it-yourself” vehicle maintenance.

Note to Remember: Schedule a routine auto AC repair service at least once a year. The benefits include improved gas mileage, a more environmentally-friendly vehicle, and a more comfortable drive.
