In this day and age it has become increasingly difficult to find good people that are not angry or behaviorally brazen with unwanted conspiracies. My car started to sound like I was braille … More driving on the centerline buttons. I knew it wasn’t good so I parked it. I had to rely on rides everywhere and to my cancer treatments. I live on SS so there isn’t a lot of extra funds to put into car parts. Still I called my mechanic. It wasn’t long before I discovered I called the wrong number and instead got John at the wrench. We quickly decided I should hang up and finish my call. My mechanic could take me at the end of the month. Great I say..that is payday … that will help. Only I now have to find rides to my cancer treatments. Next morning I get a call from John! He offers to tow my car to his shop (free to me) and fix my car in the same day and I could pay at the end of the month. OMG! Who is this!? A decent human in our area! He held true to his word with exception of timing. It took 2 days longer than anticipated but he videoed the problem, sent pictures of the repair and kept in contact. Thank you John – you were a blessing! Less
